I pray that one day you would love someone so deeply, so madly, so truly, and ardently. You’ll think of her before you go to sleep. You’ll see her face even if you close your eyes. And when you wake up you long to be with her hastily. And I pray that you are strong enough when you meet her—strong enough to standstill if the chances take her away from you. What would you do? I am telling you, you would die praying in ages, whimpering to the old and new gods, to turn back the time when she was yours. And that she won’t come back.
